Software Tools Engineer

This leader in automotive systems development is seeking a Software Tools Engineer to be based at their development centre in Dortmund. The Software Tools Engineer will be responsible for developing software tools aimed at embedded software development for product oriented embedded systems based on 16/32 bit Microprocessors. The Software Tools Engineer will also be responsible for requirements analysis, architecture and partitioning of hardware and software throughout the development process.

Your background will include experience developing software tools aimed at embedded software development coupled with hands on embedded software and systems development in C and C++ preferably for the automotive industry. You will have a good knowledge of a variety of real time operating systems. Any exposure to low power sensor development for automotive applications would be beneficial as would some knowledge of Python and Qt.
