Staff Applications Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Staff Applications Engineer has arisen with a leading Semiconductor company in San Jose, USA. This is an excellent chance to join a well-established business and take ownership of tier 1 customers and be responsible for the full integration of the software and hardware into their applications.

As a Staff Applications Engineer you will join the GPU division have visibility across the business working with multi-disciplinary teams including: sales, marketing and engineering, and liaising directly with management. You have the opportunity to work closely with high profile customers through their product lifecycle.  

Remote from The Bay Area with regular travel to customer sites.

Experience of the Staff Applications Engineer includes some of the following:

• Embedded C / C++
• Strong understanding of Linux Kernel and User Mode debugging
• Experience in graphics (OpenGL/OpenGL ES/ DirectX /Vulkan/OpenCL)
• Software development with some level of customer interaction
• Ability to travel frequently without restriction
