Staff Digital IC Design Engineer - ASIC

As Staff Digital Design Engineer - ASIC; you will be working for market leader in the semiconductor industry for advanced solutions for the mobile communications, consumer electronics, medical technology, military, aerospace and industrial markets.

I am recruiting for a driven and experienced Staff Digital Design Engineer - ASIC - to work in an international team environment. You will be part of a long established business with a great reputation in the industry for leading solutions.

As Staff Digital Design Engineer, you will be a key player in the ASIC R&D team. This is a great opportunity to be part of the complete digital ASIC design flow, from specification and modelling, implementation and verification, to synthesis and silicon bring-up.

Required skills:

• Degree / Masters / Phd in electronics engineering
• Circa 5+ years' ASIC digital design experience
• Strong in RTL design / coding / implementation, preferably using Verilog or System Verilog
• Implementation of test benches and digital verification methods
• Programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, or Perl)
• Task centered, self-driven, persistent, and team oriented
• Ability to lead people, and take control & steer of projects and their successful delivery/tape-out

Additional / bonus / "nice-to-have" skills:

• Knowledge of Analog/mixed-signal (AMS) IP or chip development
• Implementation of DSP functions on an ASIC
• Back-end / physical design / physical implementation / RTL-GDS2
• UVM Verification - test benches etc
• CMOS technology
