- Active participation in IEEE 802.11bn meetings: Represent the company, engage in discussions, and influence the development of new standards.
- Research and innovation: Investigate emerging wireless technologies and solutions to advance IEEE 802.11bn standards.
- Standards alignment: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that the company’s wireless products are aligned with the latest industry standards.
- Promotion and advocacy: Help promote the company’s standards efforts, ensuring its influence in key industry conversations.
- Provide subject-matter expertise: Offer valuable insights to internal teams, helping to drive the adoption and application of new standards.
Essential:
- Extensive knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards, especially 802.11bn, and deep expertise in wireless communication technologies.
- Proven experience in 802.11 standardization meetings, with a strong track record of contributing to standards development.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written) to effectively collaborate with global teams.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, remote, and multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to guide teams and ensure successful standards integration.
- Prior involvement in IEEE 802.11 standardization processes.
- Experience with wireless communication technology development and commercialization.
- Knowledge of patent strategy and intellectual property management in the context of wireless communication.
- Location: Paris, France, with the flexibility to work within a globally distributed team.
- 6 - 12 month contract position, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
