Our client is the leading UK based leader in wireless technology, revolutionising mobile satellite communications.
They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team, offering strong career progression a competitive salary and flexible working.
The Supplier Quality Engineers responsibilities include collaborating with cross functional teams to define and communicate supplier quality requirement expectations and standards. Conducting audits with quality management systems and industry standards, using KPI's to evaluate supplier performance is expected whilst also leading supplier qualification and selection processes, including conducting initial assessments and risk evaluations.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with IC level suppliers, experience of driving supplier audits across the full product life cycle and strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
Experience with Semiconductor suppliers and/or experience managing Semiconductor OSAT’s is desired.
