This is an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Manager to join manage the day to day running of the quality department, working in a business that design and manufacture electronic products globally. As the Supplier Quality Manager you will manage  the incoming quality team as well as manage all quality control activities. You will need to be experienced and motivated to drive the best quality standards as this will be a pivotal role and is essential in maintaining and enhancing the quality of their supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage, and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to ensure the highest quality of materials and components.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols in line with ISO 9001 standards. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement. Work with suppliers to develop and implement corrective action plans.
  • Track and analyse supplier performance metrics. Develop strategies to improve supplier quality and delivery performance, as well as setting team KPI's
  • Ensuring  the maintenance of detailed records of supplier performance, audit results, and corrective actions. Provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain. Collaborate with suppliers to implement best practices and innovations.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to supplier quality issues. Ensure timely resolution of any quality-related problems.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in supplier quality management within the sensor, electronic, or consumer products industry
  • Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE) are a plus.
  •  In-depth knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 standards and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
