Supply Chain Manager

I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a dynamic team, developing a smart and sustainable engineering system.

This position is a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Engineer who is looking to take on the next step in their journey, offering a salary of circa £45,000 plus hybrid working and great progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Led and managed global procurement strategies to ensure the seamless acquisition of high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
• Develop and implement supply chain optimisation strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with company standards and requirements.
• Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks effectively.
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure the availability of critical components while minimising excess stock.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through effective negotiation and strategic sourcing.
• Ensure all procurement and supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Experience in supply chain management and global procurement, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong understanding of electronics or mechanical engineering principles as they apply to supply chain and procurement.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
• Relevant certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or PMP are desirable.
