The successful applicant will join the operations team during a critical growth phase, managing end-to-end supply chain functions as production ramps up on current and next-generation products.
This pivotal role involves building and leading the supply chain team, optimising procurement, planning, inventory management, and logistics. You will also support the internal test floor for low-volume production while maintaining strong relationships with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure continuity and support business objectives
- Optimise supplier performance, procurement, and inventory control
- Manage sales and operations planning (S&OP) to align supply and demand
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce operational costs
- Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams
- Specify requirements and support the implementation of the company ERP system
- Oversee production planning for small-scale sample production
- Manage material availability and supply challenges
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Professional certifications (MCIPS, APICS) are a plus
- Proven experience in supply chain management within a technology-focused environment (electronics, aerospace, or semiconductors preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory control principles
- Proficient in Excel and data-driven decision-making
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices
- Ability to travel to Europe, the Far East, and the US to meet suppliers
