This is a full-time remote working opportunity for a System Architect to join a market-leading biometric technology company.
Headquartered in the US and with UK offices based in the Southeast, our client is a leading developer of fingerprint sensor solutions. Their unique technology makes it possible to make payments or prove identity in the most convenient, yet most secure way. They now seek a System Architect to join the UK Systems team, with full-time remote working an option.
The System Architect will take responsibility for system design of biometric smartcards consisting of fingerprint sensor, biometric verification, deeply embedded Secure Element and sensor firmware, and industry standard communication protocols. Working with fellow architects and cross-functional technical leads, the System Architect will drive and manage system requirements, and develop and optimize architectures through trade-off analyses and system modelling.

- Embedded system knowledge
- An extensive technical background (ideally 15 years+) within digital IC and system design
- Bare metal software creation, or vey low-level real-time OS
- Understanding of hardware aspects, including chip-to-chip communication
- Secure Element knowledge
- NCF (Near Field Communication) experience
