Technical Project Manager

I’m currently working with a cutting-edge start-up based in Cambridge. They’re seeking a Technical Project Manager to join a brilliant, diverse, and multi-disciplined team working on technology that will improve the utility and accelerate the time-to-market of computing systems.

As the Technical Project Manager, you will be working with engineers and scientists to establish and maintain timeline and budget requirements for innovative projects. 

This is a great opportunity to work on leading-edge technology in partnership with world-leading companies and academic groups.

Skills necessary: 

• Background in relevant technical area: photonics / hardware
• Proven experience delivering industrial projects to schedule and budget
• Competence in project management theory and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised, proactive, and with a positive mindset
• A keen interest in a technical project management career, with a view to develop
• Graduate-level physics or engineering qualification 
• A background in delivering commercial photonics products e.g. laser modules
