Validation Engineer

Our client is seeking their next Validation Engineer within this role you would support testing and validation of advanced silicon products. You’ll play a key role in ensuring product performance across diverse conditions and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions to the market. 

Key Responsibilities for the Validation Engineer

• Collaborate with design and product teams to meet testing and performance goals.
• Develop and run tests to validate chip performance across different conditions using Python.
• Collect and analyse data to ensure product reliability and functionality.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing, working closely with hardware and software teams.
• Maintain documentation for test procedures and results.
• Automate lab equipment to optimise testing processes.

Requirements for the Validation  Engineer:

• Post Silicon Validation expertise with RF circuits, synthesizers, digital PLLs.
• Familiarity with transmitters, receivers, and debugging methods.
• Strong skills in block-level design and debugging of PLLs.
• Ability to troubleshoot parts of PLLs like loop filters and DCOs.
• Knowledge of phase noise and custom analog/digital components.
