Design Verification - Growing Silicon Team  Cambridge, UK


The company is looking for a talented Verification Engineer to join their silicon team in Cambridge. The Verification Engineer will be responsible for verifying hardware at various stages of development, including silicon validation, using industry-standard techniques and methodologies.

Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the silicon team to define and execute verification plans
  • Develops and maintains verification environments using UVM and FPGA platforms
  • Creates and implements testbenches for simulation and verification of hardware designs
  • Writes and debugs test cases using SystemVerilog and SVA
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, verified hardware
  • Contributes to the development and improvement of verification processes and methodologies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in hardware verification
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, and C/C++
  • Strong understanding of FPGA and silicon validation
  • Solid understanding of industry-standard verification methodologies and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Day-to-day
  • Reviews and refines verification plans with the silicon team
  • Codes and debugs testbenches and test cases
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on verification goals
  • Participates in design reviews and provides feedback from a verification perspective
  • Keeps up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in hardware verification
You must already be residing in the UK to be considered, Visa sponsorship can be given, onsite work is required 3-4 days per week.
