Waveguide Design Engineer

An opportunity for a Waveguide Design Engineer for an exciting new start-up in Cambridge. This company is planning to revolutionise Augmented Reality technologies. This waveguide design engineer will be expected to be a hands-on technical working professional who can drive forward projects and work in a growing team and bring the expertise of optical waveguide design to the team.

This role is open for Engineers of all levels of seniority from Graduate to Technical lead/Management.

Requirements:

• Optical Design simulations in the ray tracing software Zemax is a must have.
• Experience in optical waveguide design/modelling for AR/VR applications.
• Experience in free space optical systems.
• Experience in diffractive optics.
• Any experience in nanophotonic fabrication would be a bonus.
• Time and project management skills.
