X-ray Application Engineer

Our client, the world’s number 1 leader in X-ray-based metrology systems for the semiconductor industry, is looking for a talented engineer or scientist to join them as an X-ray Application Engineer.

This role can be based remotely from anywhere within Europe.

As the X-ray Application Engineer your role will be to introduce and foster X-ray metrology technology to the semiconductor industry, taking responsibility for the whole of the European region. You will deliver technical expertise to customers through sales presentations, product demonstrations and maintenance of the company product, helping them identify potential applications based on process metrology needs. We are looking for someone with:

• A Master’s or PhD level degree either in Electronic Engineering / Physics / Material Science / Chemistry
• A technical background in X-ray for inspection systems for the Semiconductor industry
• An ability to work in a production floor, cleanroom, and laboratory environment
• Excellent language skills in English, with strong customer-facing skills
• An ability to travel (up to 30-40% domestic and international)
