Product Management and Product Marketing

The Sales and Marketing team specialises in Product Management and Product Marketing jobs. They understand that a solid product manager needs to have both commercial and technical skill sets as the outward face to the customer. A product manager is responsible for product definition so they must be able to have a foot in both the sales and engineering teams and be credible to both. Sometimes this role incorporates product marketing, go-to-market and product pricing whilst some companies choose to make this a separate position. The sales and marketing team recruit Product Managers from mid to VP/Director level.
