The Sustainability&nbsp;Engineer will focus on maintaining, improving and extending existing hardware platforms while working closely with manufacturing, quality and design teams. This Sustainability Engineer role offers hands\u2011on technical responsibility within a regulated, product\u2011led environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Support existing electronic products through their full lifecycle, from production through to end\u2011of\u2011life<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Investigate and resolve hardware issues arising from manufacturing, suppliers or the field<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Manage component obsolescence, second sourcing and design changes<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Implement engineering changes, including schematic updates, PCB revisions and BOM modifications<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Support compliance, verification and documentation updates for regulated products<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Work with suppliers, manufacturers and internal stakeholders to ensure product continuity<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Requirements<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Background in electronic hardware engineering or sustainability engineering<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with schematic capture, PCB design or design modifications<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Familiarity with component lifecycle management and obsolescence mitigation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Practical fault\u2011finding and root cause analysis skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Ability to work within regulated or quality\u2011driven environments<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">If you\u2019re interested in the position of Sustainability Engineer, please apply or contact Chris Moffatt for more details.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Sustainability Engineer is required to join an established medical and optical instrumentation business supporting the ongoing development and lifecycle of complex electronic products.
