This role focuses on the design and development of high-precision opto-mechanical systems used in demanding, high-power environments. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to take products from concept through to prototype and production.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Key&nbsp;Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Design&nbsp;and&nbsp;develop&nbsp;precision&nbsp;opto-mechanical&nbsp;assemblies&nbsp;and&nbsp;systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Work&nbsp;on&nbsp;high-average&nbsp;power&nbsp;systems&nbsp;(&gt;10&nbsp;kW)&nbsp;operating&nbsp;in&nbsp;harsh&nbsp;or&nbsp;challenging&nbsp;environments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Design&nbsp;and&nbsp;implement&nbsp;optical&nbsp;fiber&nbsp;mounting&nbsp;and&nbsp;integration&nbsp;solutions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Produce&nbsp;detailed&nbsp;3D&nbsp;CAD&nbsp;models,&nbsp;2D&nbsp;drawings,&nbsp;and&nbsp;technical&nbsp;documentation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Perform&nbsp;FEM&nbsp;analysis&nbsp;to&nbsp;validate&nbsp;thermal&nbsp;and&nbsp;mechanical&nbsp;performance<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Apply&nbsp;design-for-manufacturing&nbsp;(DFM)&nbsp;principles&nbsp;to&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;robust,&nbsp;scalable&nbsp;designs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Build,&nbsp;test,&nbsp;and&nbsp;refine&nbsp;prototypes,&nbsp;supporting&nbsp;hands-on&nbsp;experimental&nbsp;work<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Required&nbsp;Skills&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Experience<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Proven&nbsp;experience&nbsp;in&nbsp;opto-mechanical&nbsp;product&nbsp;design<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong&nbsp;background&nbsp;in&nbsp;CAD,&nbsp;FEM,&nbsp;and&nbsp;mechanical&nbsp;analysis<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience&nbsp;with&nbsp;optical&nbsp;fiber&nbsp;mounting&nbsp;and&nbsp;alignment<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Hands-on&nbsp;experience&nbsp;with&nbsp;prototyping,&nbsp;testing,&nbsp;and&nbsp;experimental&nbsp;setups<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Solid&nbsp;understanding&nbsp;of&nbsp;manufacturing&nbsp;processes&nbsp;and&nbsp;tolerances<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Excellent&nbsp;written&nbsp;and&nbsp;spoken&nbsp;English&nbsp;communication&nbsp;skills<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Apply today&nbsp; or contact&nbsp;Gemma for more information!&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Opto-Mechanical Design Engineer to join an advanced engineering team in the greater Munich area.
