{"id":184155,"date":"2026-07-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ic-resources.com\/jobs\/simulation-modelling-engineer-491949\/"},"modified":"2026-07-25T02:05:00","modified_gmt":"2026-07-25T01:05:00","slug":"simulation-modelling-engineer-491949","status":"publish","type":"jobs","link":"https:\/\/ic-resources.com\/en\/jobs\/simulation-modelling-engineer-491949\/","title":{"rendered":"Simulation &amp; Modelling Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">I&#8217;m recruiting for a Simulation &amp; Modelling Engineer to join a highly technical engineering organisation working across complex, multidisciplinary projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">The role sits at the intersection of physics, software and systems engineering, giving you the opportunity to build models, explore system behaviour and support the development and verification of advanced technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>You&#8217;ll be working on:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Developing physics-based models of complex engineering systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Using simulation to analyse system behaviour and interactions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Supporting system design, integration and verification<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Working with engineers across software, electronics and systems disciplines<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Applying mathematical and physical principles to solve challenging technical problems<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>We&#8217;re interested in engineers with:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">A degree in Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related subject<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience developing engineering models or simulations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong engineering fundamentals and an understanding of physical principles<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with MATLAB and Simulink<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Knowledge of systems engineering principles<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">You&#8217;ll also need experience in&nbsp;<strong>at least one<\/strong>&nbsp;of the following areas:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Simulink Embedded Coder or HDL Coder<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Digital Signal Processing (DSP)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Radar signal processing<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">This could be a great fit for someone who enjoys getting to the heart of how complex systems work, building models to understand them and working with talented engineers to turn that understanding into real-world technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Apply today or contact Gemma for more information<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m recruiting for a Simulation &amp; Modelling Engineer to join a highly technical engineering organisation working across complex, multidisciplinary projects.
