We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to take a leading role in the design, architecture and delivery of complex software-enabled systems.<\/span><\/p>\n

This position is ideal for an engineer looking to expand beyond hands-on development into systems architecture, technical leadership and multidisciplinary problem solving, while remaining closely involved in embedded software engineering. <\/span><\/p>\n

You will work alongside software, electronics, systems and mechanical engineers to develop innovative products across a variety of industries and technologies. <\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Design and develop embedded software and firmware for complex embedded devices and physical products<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Define software and system architectures for connected and embedded systems<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Lead technical delivery across software, electronics and systems engineering teams<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Solve integration, performance and reliability challenges across complex systems.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Work closely with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to define technical solutions<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical decision-making and best practices<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support the development of innovative technologies across a range of sectors and applications<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements:<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Essential<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Degree (2:1 or above) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related subject<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Commercial experience developing embedded software, firmware or device software<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience working on complex embedded systems or hardware-based products.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of systems architecture, integration and software design.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Desirable<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Cloud-connected systems experience<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Cyber security knowledge<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Application software development experience<\/span><\/li>\n
      • AI\/ML exposure.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Experience working within regulated environments<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Previous technical leadership or mentoring responsibilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
