A rapidly growing scale-up<\/strong> is taking advanced integrated photonics from technology development into production and is seeking an experienced Photonics Layout & Tapeout Engineer to help turn complex designs into robust, fabrication-ready products.<\/span><\/p>\n

The role<\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Lead integrated photonics layout, verification and tapeout activities<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Translate designs into production-ready layouts and mask data<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Work with PDKs, design rules and leading photonics foundries<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with design and process teams to optimise manufacturability, yield and performance<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Drive tapeout deliverables and improve layout and verification workflows<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The ideal candidate<\/span><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Several years\u2019 experience in integrated photonics layout and tapeout<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of PIC fabrication and foundry design flows<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Expertise with tools such as KLayout, Cadence or equivalent<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience taking photonic designs through fabrication and tapeout<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Meticulous, hands-on and able to work independently<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
