The role will&nbsp; act as a technical bridge between R&amp;D and Manufacturing, supporting NPI, design transfer, process capability, yield improvement and production problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have experience in chemical processing, surface engineering and coating technologies, ideally within a regulated, precision-manufacturing environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Partner with R&amp;D to develop and transfer manufacturing-ready processes for new products<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Lead\/support technology transfer and NPI industrialisation, providing Design for Manufacture input<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Define Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Develop, optimise and control coating, surface preparation and chemical treatment processes<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Use DoE, statistical analysis and structured problem-solving to improve process capability, yield, throughput, cost and consistency<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Establish and monitor process KPIs and drive continuous improvement<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Investigate production issues, process variation and yield loss using root cause analysis<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Collaborate with R&amp;D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations and external suppliers\/technology partners<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Essential Experience<\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials\/Surface Science, Chemistry, Physics or a related discipline<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Significant process engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; semiconductor cleanroom experience preferred<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Hands-on experience with coating technologies and surface treatments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Practical knowledge of DoE, 8D, FMEA and structured problem-solving<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong analytical, project management, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Please contact Rachel Anderson for further details.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Oxford based client is currently searching for a Semiconductor&nbsp;Process Engineer to support the development, transfer and optimisation of coated consumable manufacturing processes within a cleanroom environment.
