They are looking for a Physical Design Engineer to work on next generation high speed circuit and communications technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">This is an opportunity to work on advanced semiconductor technology within a highly technical R&amp;D environment, where Physical Design is involved in taking new architectures from development through towards production silicon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">The role would suit a Physical Design Engineer who enjoys working across the full implementation flow and wants exposure to challenging designs at advanced process nodes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">What makes the role interesting:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Work on advanced semiconductor designs using modern process technologies<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Opportunity to contribute to new architectures rather than simply implementing established designs<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Full RTL to GDS experience across synthesis, place &amp; route and signoff<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Small, technically focused R&amp;D environment with significant scope to influence methodologies and implementation<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Research and development work has a clear route towards future production silicon<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">The ideal Physical Design Engineer will have:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong experience across the digital Physical Design flow from RTL through to GDS<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience working on advanced process nodes, ideally 7nm or below<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Good understanding of modern implementation and signoff methodologies<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with Cadence tools is preferred but not essential&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with timing closure and STA<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Exposure to physical verification and signoff<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Scripting experience, ideally with TCL, Python or Shell<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience working with mixed signal or analogue blocks would be a strong advantage<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with SerDes is useful but not essential<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">For more information on this role or others then please contact Jordan Browne at IC Resources.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is an exciting opportunity to join small advanced R&amp;D team that is looking to expand.
