{"id":222915,"date":"2026-09-17T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-16T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ic-resources.com\/jobs\/senior-digital-asic-design-engineer-516990\/"},"modified":"2026-09-28T10:09:48","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T09:09:48","slug":"senior-digital-asic-design-engineer-516990","status":"publish","type":"jobs","link":"https:\/\/ic-resources.com\/en\/jobs\/senior-digital-asic-design-engineer-516990\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Digital ASIC Design Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">A leading semiconductor company is looking for a Senior Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join its engineering team in Whiteley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">This is a hands on role combining digital design, simulation and low level programming, with the opportunity to work on complex ICs from specification through to pre silicon validation and beyond.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">What you\u2019ll be doing<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Reviewing and developing RTL against technical specifications<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Running chip simulations and pre silicon screening<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Writing low level code, including Assembler, to exercise chip functionality<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Supporting the definition of new features for next generation products<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Investigating issues across digital and mixed signal areas<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Working closely with engineers across design, software and hardware<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Required Experience<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong understanding of digital ASIC design and RTL<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with chip simulation and pre silicon validation<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience working with chip databases or similar design environments<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Low level programming experience, ideally including Assembler<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Ability to work from detailed technical specifications and investigate design issues<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Good understanding of digital systems and how they operate at chip level<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Mixed signal IC experience would be beneficial, particularly exposure to analogue and digital interaction, but is not essential.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">For more information on this role or others then please contact Jordan Browne at IC Resources for more information.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A leading semiconductor company is looking for a Senior Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join its engineering team in Whiteley.
