The role is focused on the development of advanced digital ICs, from architecture and RTL through to verification, implementation and tapeout.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Define RTL architecture and translate chip specifications into digital hardware blocks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Develop synthesis ready RTL, including control logic, state machines and data paths<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Perform logic synthesis and optimise designs for power, performance and area<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Analyse STA results and resolve timing issues across different operating conditions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Implement DFT features including scan and BIST<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Work closely with verification, physical design and DFT engineers throughout the development process<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Support prototyping, validation and product deployment<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Contribute to technical discussions with customers and other external partners<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Master\u2019s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">3 to 5+ years of commercial digital IC design experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Proven experience taking complex digital ICs from architecture through to production tapeout<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong knowledge of RTL design and hardware description languages<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with high speed protocols such as PCIe Gen5\/6, CXL or USB4, or advanced bus architectures such as ARM AMBA CHI\/AXI or NoC<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong understanding of synthesis, timing closure and PPA optimisation<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">This position would suit someone with strong hands on digital design experience who enjoys working across the full IC development flow.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Get in touch with Parm Shergill for more details.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am recruiting for a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer to join my client\u2019s engineering team in Singapore.
