You will drive the definition, development, verification, qualification and improvement of spacecraft electronics and electrical architectures, bringing deep technical judgement to complex problems and helping the team deliver to a consistently high standard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">You will work closely with the Electronics Team Leader, project teams and cross-functional colleagues, providing expert input on architecture, technical risk, design quality and issue resolution. You will also mentor and develop the engineers around you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong><span style=\"line-height: 115%\">Essential Requirements<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">A relevant degree or equivalent work experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Significant analogue and digital hardware design experience in high-reliability, regulated environments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Practical understanding of electronics design, verification, qualification and production release<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Good understanding of EMC, reliability, manufacturability, testability, fault investigation and technical risk<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Working knowledge of spacecraft electrical interfaces, including power, RF, digital, analogue, communications and harnessing<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Hands-on experience with CAN, SPI, I2C and UART, embedded interfaces, hardware\/software interface definition, ADCs, DC\/DC converters and LDOs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Proven experience guiding complex designs from concept through verification, release, manufacturing support and issue resolution<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Experience reviewing schematics, PCB layouts, manufacturing and release packs, test evidence, NCRs and ECNs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Practical application of DFM, DFT, DFA, reliability and configuration-control considerations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Proven ability to provide guidance, mentoring, supplier support and cross-functional technical advice<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong><span style=\"line-height: 115%\">Desirable Requirements<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Previous experience in the space industry or another regulated environment<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Experience with spacecraft electrical architectures, subsystem interfaces and controlled baselines<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Specialist experience in one or more of: power, battery, RF, onboard computing, embedded, mixed-signal, high-speed digital or high-reliability analogue electronics<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Experience using FPGAs, HDL, microcontrollers, SDR interfaces or low-level device interfaces<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Knowledge of C, Python or device-driver considerations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">RF electronics experience, including LNAs, filters, SDR interfacing, impedance matching, shielding and RF PCB layout<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Experience with EMC, grounding, shielding, harnessing, interface control and verification<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Experience applying DFMEA, FDIR, reliability, radiation, thermal, vibration or environmental constraints<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Knowledge of Altium, Cadence OrCAD or equivalent schematic and PCB tools<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;line-height: 115%;font-family: Verdana\">Awareness of ECSS, ESA, NASA, aerospace, defence or equivalent high-reliability standards and processes<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span
