are looking for a Senior Electronic Engineer to join a growing engineering team developing advanced communication, sensing and embedded technology products.<\/p>\n<p>The Senior Electronic Engineer will play a key role in the development of complex electronic systems used in demanding and highly regulated environments.<\/p>\n<p>The Senior Electronic Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including electronics, software, optical, mechanical and systems engineers to develop products from concept through to production.<\/p>\n<p>What the Role Involves<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the design and schematic capture of analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronic circuits.<\/li>\n<li>Design electronic systems for control, signal processing, sensing and communications applications.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and layout PCBs, including high-speed and RF designs.<\/li>\n<li>Select components suitable for deployment in harsh or regulated environments.<\/li>\n<li>Create power budgets and electrical architectures for sub-systems and products.<\/li>\n<li>Take products from prototype stage through testing, verification and qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with mechanical and multidisciplinary teams in thermally and mechanically constrained environments.<\/li>\n<li>Design and model analogue signal conditioning circuits, including amplifiers, DACs and sensor interfaces.<\/li>\n<li>Perform circuit simulation, analysis and optimisation.<\/li>\n<li>Develop system-level performance models and electrical budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Create test platforms and support hardware verification and validation activities.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct laboratory testing and performance characterisation.<\/li>\n<li>Produce technical documentation and participate in design reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Support continuous improvement of products, processes and engineering standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Essential Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of industry experience in electronic hardware development.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analogue and digital circuit design experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with PCB design and layout tools such as Altium, KiCad, PADS, EAGLE or similar.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of signal integrity, impedance matching and termination techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SPICE simulation and circuit analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Experience implementing communication interfaces and protocols such as:\n<ul>\n<li>CAN<\/li>\n<li>SPI<\/li>\n<li>UART<\/li>\n<li>I\u00b2C<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators and spectrum analysers.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to design, test and debug electronic systems throughout the product lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Strong documentation and technical communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desirable Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience within aerospace, defence, automotive, telecommunications or other highly regulated industries.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with RF or high-speed PCB layout.<\/li>\n<li>Experience designing electronics to industry or mission-critical standards.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of component derating and long-lifecycle component selection.<\/li>\n<li>Experience developing power budgets, electrical models and thermal assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with low-noise analogue design and signal processing circuits.<\/li>\n<li>Experience developing performance, noise or system-level models.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with embedded firmware development.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with FPGA development and HDL languages such as Verilog.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with PCB simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS or similar.<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical CAD experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within multidisciplinary
