The Component Engineer will support component selection, reliability assessment and lifecycle management across complex PCB assemblies. This Component Engineer role offers broad exposure to supply chain, manufacturing and hardware design within a fast\u2011paced engineering environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Identify, qualify and manage electronic components for new and existing hardware platforms<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Work with hardware, PCB and manufacturing teams to resolve component\u2011related issues<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Analyse obsolescence risks, supply constraints and long\u2011term availability<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Maintain approved vendor lists, component libraries and lifecycle documentation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Liaise with suppliers to obtain technical data, evaluations and compliance information<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Support failure analysis, reliability assessments and change\u2011control activities<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Contribute to design reviews and provide guidance on component suitability<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Requirements<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience in component engineering, electronics manufacturing or hardware development<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Understanding of semiconductors, passives, connectors and PCB\u2011level components<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Familiarity with compliance, reliability, lifecycle and qualification processes<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Ability to interpret datasheets, reliability reports and component documentation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">If you\u2019re interested in the position of Component Engineer, please apply or contact Chris <\/span>Moffatt<span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"> for more details.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Component Engineer is required to join a high\u2011performance computing hardware team developing advanced processor and accelerator platforms.
