A multinational Semiconductor company currently seeks an Analog IC Design Engineer to join their expanding design centre located in the vibrant city of Dublin, Ireland.
Working in the area of power management, the Analog IC Design Engineer will be working on Analog IC Design and chip level integration taking into consideration design yield, design for test and functional safety. You will have the opportunity to work on precision Analog circuit design, power Analog design as well as Digital IC Design and Mixed signal verification.
You will be participating in product definition and planning of product development, performing verification of circuits using advanced Mixed Signal techniques to ensure functionality and performance. You will also perform evaluation of ICs in the lab as they return from fabrication.
Industry degree qualified the successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years Analog IC Design experience with strong proficiency in the Cadence Analog IC Design environment, including schematic entry, layout, Analog and Mixed-Signal simulation and/or proficiency with Digital IC Design and Verification tool flows. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Exposure to DC-DC switching power such as Buck, Boost converters would be ideal.

There will also be development opportunities to mentor more junior staff and provide technical leadership on projects as well as the ability to travel globally on occasion to other sites.
