Our client, a successful supplier of high performance ICs seeks a Senior Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design engineer with an emphasis on system level design for their established design centre situation in the Swindon area.
In this role you will have the opportunity to take on a broad set of responsibilities including working with customers to gain deep understanding of system requirements and derive key ASIC requirements creating specifications and designing at block level. You will be responsible for defining architectures to meet needs for current and future products, whilst encompassing a system level thinking approach and working towards shaping architecture.
You will have experience of the whole of design cycle: from requirements to post-tapeout and will have a demonstrated proficiency in all front-end stages of the design flow. Experience in SoC architectures is required at 180nm nodes and below.
Experience in the Analog IC design process is essential ideally with experience in leading projects and delivering on time and to budget. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Industry degree qualified (or equivalent) the successful applicant will have established experience in Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design with experience in some or all of the following; very low power Analog and oscillators, low noise, high precision, CMOS, ADCs and DACs. The role will suit someone who can show initiative and responsibility and who can design at system level with an influence on architecture.
