Are you a QA and Application Support Manager looking for a new challenge?

I am currently working for a global 3PL looking to centralise there QA process to create a better environment for the company and customers alike.  The key part of the role is to create processes in place where all parts of any changes made to the systems are tested centrally before released to the project teams. 

Ideally you will also have had experience managing L2 teams and have a passion for training, supervising, and integrating new Analysts to the team. WMS experience is a must. This will enable you to understand the process and needs of the business.

  • Build effective relationships across all levels of the business and IT functions
  • Accountable for ensuring high quality operational & technical application and systems support to internal business functions
Responsible for minimising the adverse impact of Incidents through rapid resolution and proactively preventing potential future Incidents. This includes but not limited to the following:
  • Team Lead and line management for the Application Support team to provide high quality support and maintenance of the applications portfolio
  • Co-ordinate and provide resources for the resolution of Incidents in line with agreed policy, process and SLAs
  • Act as single point of contact for escalation in case of P1 incidents related to the applications in his perimeter of responsibility
  • Act as crisis manager in case P1 issue are not fixed within the expected SLA
  • Raise and manage “Problems” as a result of any resolved Incidents
  • Co-ordinate and provide resources for the resolution of Service Requests in line with agreed policy, process and SLAs
In conjunction with the Application Support Leads:
  • Develop, implement and maintain appropriate processes and procedures to ensure efficient, effective and consistent support
  • Design and implement appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators, particularly in terms of in-depth trend analysis
Jointly with the Q&A and testing Leads:
  • ensure appropriate testing protocol for new application releases
  • Attend to the Change Overview Board (COB) as permanent member
  • Ensure User Acceptance Test (UAT) is consistently delivered and signed-off by the application business owner
Jointly with the Training Coordinator:
  • Develop, implement and maintain appropriate training programs
  • Define and implement an yearly based training calendar
Must haves
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Willing to work a minimum of 3 days in the office in Toulouse
  • QA experience at management level
  • WMS experience
