Customer Facing Embedded Software Engineer

Exciting opportunities exist for Customer Facing Embedded Software Engineers within this leading high-speed network connectivity systems developer. The Customer Facing Embedded Software Engineer will be based in at their R+D Centre in Dortmund (possibilities also exist for some remote work within Germany or to be based in the UK) working closely with both internal and customer development teams developing embedded software and software at bare metal level in C and C++ for high-speed network connectivity for the consumer electronics market. The Customer facing Embedded Software will also be responsible for supporting customer development programmes and for evaluating emerging software requirements.

You will have a successful track record of building technical relationships with customer development teams working closely on embedded software development projects. Your hands on technical skills will include experience developing embedded real time software in C and C++ for networking / wireless connectivity applications (or similar). You should have extensive exposure working at the software / hardware interface and any knowledge of high-speed communications bus/protocols (USB3, USB4, PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, etc.) would be advantageous. You should also be able to speak and write fluent English. Candidates must already be fully authorised to work and live in the EU (or UK).
