Field Application Engineer
 
Field Application Engineer required for a global electronics distributor to provide application and design solutions to their customer base across Italy. As a FAE, you are to establish the most effective product portfolio to the customer and represent the company's interest at all technical levels to increase the chance of winning an identified opportunity.
 
Suitable candidates will have an electronics/electrical qualification and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a design and/or technical support role.   You will be looking after the product line from one of their major suppliers and will be the technical expert in the region.
 
You will be providing technical support to both customers and internal sales teams across the region.
 
You will speak fluent Italian and English
 
Requirements:

• Strong Electronics/Electrical Engineering background and technical qualification
• 3 years of experience working as a design or field application engineer
• Commercially astute, highly organised and self motivated
• Excellent communications skills and ability to hold technical presentations
• Flexible with a willingness to travel across Italy as and when required
