Our client is the UK’s most prominent industry body within technology, supporting the needs of a wide range of technology companies, from start ups to blue chips. Their goal is to encourage growth and employment in the UK technology industry through collaboration, communication and representation at government level.
This role is to head up the Semiconductor and Electronics Systems cluster, with the ultimate goal of delivering maximum value to the current membership and the new members that you attract. The position would suit a technical sales, business development or applications engineering professional from range of possible previous employers – electronics manufacturing, fabless, consumer electronics design, system design, firmware design, etc from within consumer, industrial, automotive, medical, aerospace, etc. Alternatively experience working within another industry body or a government supported programme (eg Catapult) would be appropriate.
This is a varied and rewarding role in a busy and successful team, contributing to the health of the UK’s driver of future growth and prosperity. You can be based from home, anywhere in the UK, with regular travel. Salary 50-55k + benefits.
