Job responsibilities
- Responsibility for the entire purchase of castings and components made of aluminium, steel and grey iron for the production
- Independent negotiation of price and delivery conditions for production parts
- Assessment, selection and development of national and international suppliers
- Continuous improvement of supply chains and responsibility for the permanent material supply
- Successfully completed technical or commercial education, studies or similar apprenticeship e.g. tool making
- Work experience in technical purchasing, preferably in the automotive industry or in an international industrial enterprise
- Knowledge in the field of castings, aluminium, steel or engine components
- Strong negotiating skills in German and English
