An opportunity for a has arisen for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join a highly successful company specialising in Power Management and Audio ICs for a range of end products. In this role you will take full ownership of circuit blocks from schematic to simulation and will be involved in proposing new circuit solutions and design methodologies. You will be able to demonstrate innovation by keeping up to speed with the state of the art circuit solutions.
Other responsibilities include; overseeing the Analog layout activity, contributing to test specifications and supporting lab evaluation, providing design documentation and supporting application engineering.
Industry degree qualified, you will have a minimum of 10 years experience in Analog IC Design. Knowledge in some or all of the following areas is required: Linear/switching regulators, battery charging, BCD technology, Audio PA, ADC or DAC design, PLL, FLL, clock generators, Class-D amplifiers, charge pumps, voltage / current reference / operational amplifiers.
Proficiency in using the Cadence suite of analog design tools is essential. Excellent communication skills in English is required with a proactive teamwork attitude and a passion to develop products to high standards.
