Start up in Germany is urgently looking for a very experienced Analog Mixed Signal IC Designer with ideally a background in NVM and AI as well as a deep understanding of HDC systems. You are also welcome to apply if you have worked on NVM or have a different background in memory design but have only some experience in AI, which is essential. Applications from around the globe are welcome, as long as you are willing to move to Germany, visa will be taken care of and a relocation package is offered.

You will be responsible for design, simulation, layout, verification and characterisation of various circuit components serving the crossbars of macros, such as decoders, ADC, DAC, adders, multipliers, You will support the design team in defining specifications and integrating the designed components into the overall system.

Your skills include:
  • In-depth understanding of CNN, spiking NN, In- / Near- Memory Computing and Hyperdimensional Computing (HDC) systems
  • Experienced with SystemC modelling and TVM compiler for Crossbar virtual prototyping
  • Skilled with industry-standard design and simulation tools (Cadence, DFII, Virtuoso, Spice simulator, Verilog-A)
  • Good knowledge of CMOS technology and ARM/RISC-V uC
  • Strong problem solving ability
