A leading global Semiconductor manufacturer currently seeks a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join their established design team working on Imaging Sensors for the Automotive industry.
Based in the Thames Valley UK (one of the UK’s top Semiconductor hubs), you will be working in the Analog IC Design group designing complete Analog signal processing chains for state-of-the-art Image Sensors, specifically targeted at the Automotive industry
The Analog Team supplies a significant part of the whole product and you will be expected to work closely with other teams to deliver high quality products and you will have the opportunity to work on designing high reliability circuits such as ADCs, SC Amplifiers and references. The site is equipped with a lab where you will be expected to get involved in measurement and characterisation of the blocks you designed.
Industry degree qualified the successful Senior Analog IC Design engineer will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Analog IC Design. You will have experience in designing chips with Analog-Mixed-Signal subsystems and will have exposure of a range of process nodes. You will be proficient in the use of Analog IC Design tools (i.e. Cadence, Mentor) and will have a solid understanding of circuit layout techniques. Knowledge of switched capacitor techniques and low power ADC design would be advantageous.
Experience in device modelling experience (Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog, etc) and Coding skills – Scripting (Ocean/SKILL) is of interest, as well as a solid understanding of practises for assuring device reliability and high yield (DFM).
Experience would be ideal in: Low power and Sigma-Delta ADC design, Switched Capacitor implementations, Project leadership and/or Image Sensors.
