This leading silicon timing organisation urgently seeks a Software Director - Simulation to be based at their R+D Centre in Delft. The Software Director – Simulation will be responsible for leading a team of Software and Simulation Engineers developing software simulation tools to enable world-class MEMS-based timing products. The Software Director – Simulation will have full responsibility for the team, will work with other senior team members road-mapping future development, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget and for handling all day-to-day issues, changes or problems that arise.

Having successfully completed your technical education to PhD or Masters level (or equiv.) in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics etc. you will be able to demonstrate a successful track record working in, or allied to, the semiconductor industry guiding and implementing simulation and software engineering projects for highly technical simulation applications. You will have successfully managed teams of high calibre Simulation and Software Engineers and you should also have a very good understanding of Simulation, Finite Element Modelling or Physics preferably gained in a MEMS, or similar, development environment. You will need to show a real passion for delivering high quality and useful software simulation tools!
