This is an opportunity for an Analog/Mixed Signal Verification Engineer to join one of the largest providers of frequency control solutions to the global market, at their design centre based just North of London.
As a member of the ASIC Design group, you will be responsible for the development of ASICs used within leading edge frequency control products.
Other responsibilities include:
- Perform verification simulations and generate design documentation for ASIC design projects
- Design test benches in both Virtuoso or VHDL
- Contribute to any continuous improvement initiatives
- Present results back to the ASIC design team
- Generate verification reports and design documents for all key blocks
The position may also include definition and design for some sections of the digital functionality of the ASIC.
The successful applicant will be industry degree qualified MSc or PhD in Electronic Engineering or Microelectronics with a minimum 2-3 years relevant industry experience. The role would be suitable for either an experienced AMS Verification Engineer or alternatively a junior engineer looking to further their career in this domain.
Experience is required in the Cadence tool suite predominantly Analog (Virtuoso) with an understanding of the Digital flow. The ability to extract simulation results, capture in a document and present to the team for peer review is ideal.
