A market leading supplier of semiconductors for the automotive industry is looking for an Analog Mixed Signal Chip Architect with good knowledge in functional safety standards to join their team in Munich.
In this position you will lead and contribute to the development of new functional safety architectures of IC's for the automotive market. You will be the interface for automotive customers, System Architects and transfer customer requirements and design constraints to leading edge architectures for functionally safe IC's for automotive applications. You will support business and strategic planning to complete product definition and engineering teams during implementation of architecture requirements as well as contribute to the creation of functional and technical safety concepts and safety analyses.
The successful Chip Architect is industry degree qualified and has a solid background in the development of automotive systems related to hardware or software as well as a good understanding of integrated devices from within a similar position in a product company.
Good knowledge of safety concepts and analyses (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA) as well as Analog Mixed Signal IC Design and DfT are essential as well as solid knowledge of FUSA standards ISO26262 or IEC61508.
You will be working in an international team and travel between different site in Germany. Fluency in English is essential.
