Analog / Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer – Imaging

This is a new opportunity for an Analog IC Design engineer to join a well established company to work within a new team developing highly specialised imaging products. This is an opportunity to work on exciting design challenges and a chance to be part of a new team!


In this role you will be responsible for the design of the following Analog/Mixed Signal sub blocks in CMOS: amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, switched capacitor circuits, references and high speed interfaces. You will be tasked with contributing to product and architecture definition, top level IC verification, ASIC Layout or layout specification and simulation and performing first silicon evaluation and characterization.


Experience in some or all of the following is desired:



  • Mixed signal modelling and simulation in VerilogA/MS

  • Noise analysis in CMOS circuits

  • Digital simulation, synthesis and ASIC implementation

  • Design for Manufacture and Design for Test, concepts and techniques

  • Familiarity with digital photography concepts and CMOS image sensors is a plus


The successful Analog IC Design Engineer will be industry degree qualified with a minimum of 5 years of Analog IC Design experience ideally with image sensor design experience. Familiarity with CMOS design in CMOS 180nm, 65nm and with Cadence design tools: Virtuoso, ADE-XL, PVS. You will have a strong track record of working effectively as part of a team, producing first time functional silicon.
