IC Resources have a new opening with a well respected and talented compiler development consultancy who are able to consider both experienced compiler developers or talented recent graduates. They are based on the South Coast but dependant on experience they can offer some remote working.

The successful candidate will join their team developing Free and Open Source compilers for companies around the globe. Experienced compiler developers with experience in developing internals for compilers, particularly GCC & back end development or outstanding programmers (in any language) can be considered. Although exposure to any compiler technology / areas are of interest, additional training in this deeply specialist field will be given.The key criteria required for this compiler development position is proven software programming ability in any modern high level language ( C, C++, C#, Java, etc). If compilers are an interesting filed you would like to pursue but have no experience then you need to apply for this position.

The compiler and toolchain development experience that would be of interest is: gcc, LLVM, CoSy, BinUtils, front-end, back-end, code generation, optimisation etc would be perfect. However software engineers with evidence of their potential in compiler development such as personal projects or success and interest in a compiler course/module as part of a degree.
