This Autonomous Navigation Engineer (Computer Vision, C, C++) vacancy is based in Oxford, UK with my client who develops UAV's (unmanned aerial vehicles) for industrial use, both the software and hardware elements. Their current product is efficient, compact and most importantly light but they need someone of your expertise to help make it the best it possibly can be.

What can you expect? Primary responsibilities will be in the development of sensor processing and navigation algorithms, allowing for the autonomous localisation within known, partially known and unknown environments.

Eligible Autonomous Navigation Engineers will have experience in most of the following;

1. BSc/MSc in a relevant discipline

2. Computer Vision

3. Sensor Processing & Fusion

4. Camera Systems (Camera Theory, calibration, detection, optical flow, transformations, homography, tracking etc)

5. C, C++ development experience, from design to real-time implementation on embedded platforms.
