Data Engineer Lead

This Data Engineer Lead vacancy is based in Oxford with my client who is using analytics from real-world datasets to help in the development and discovery of new medicines. This Data Engineer Lead position comes with a generous package and the ability to join a fast growing company.


What can you expect? Primary responsibilities will be in creating Data Pipeline architectures, Data Warehousing and working with stakeholders on data related issues and advising and input on the companies vision related to data engineering.


Eligible Data Engineer Lead will have a relevant degree such as Computer Science and Software Engineering, and experience in most of the following;


1. 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer and experience in leading teams and projects

2. Experience in dealing with large data sets, Data Warehousing, Data Pipelines (ETL)

3. strong programming in one of the following languages: Python, Java, Scala (the more the merrier)
