Digital SOC Design Engineer

As part of ongoing expansion this is an exciting opportunity to join my clients front end digital design team as a senior/principal level SoC Design engineer.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Principal level Design Engineer to join my client; a fabless design house company with offices across the South. This particular role is based in their Cambridge or Wokingham office. My client are focused on complete turn-key chip development and supply. The company has world-class expertise in supplying digital, analog and mixed signal IC's to its global customers in the consumer, communications, industrial and automotive markets.


The role presents the opportunity for the successful candidate to help build a global semiconductor business, in what promises to be one of the most exciting periods of growth in the company.


The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a strong academic record with a sound understanding of SoC design principles, and 10+ years' experience in digital or mixed-signal SoC development


Key skills:

  • Extensive experience as a digital designer OR digital lead in turn key SoC developments.
  • A good understanding of the complete SoC flow from spec through to tape-out.
  • Good knowledge of verification techniques.
  • Low power design expertise.
  • DFT techniques and impacted RTL design would be advantageous.
  • VHDL coding knowledge
