Distribution Sales Manager

A leading Connector Manufacturer is currently seeking a Distribution Sales Manager based within the UK to manager the region and also parts of central Europe.

The role will be a mixture of home & field-based work and will require you to travel throughout Europe.


Requirements:


  • Strong technical knowledge of electronic components (ideally Connectors) and the ability to effectively communicate this knowledge.
  • Proven sales experience with an evident track record of gaining market share and growing business.
  • Any experience with Industrial OEMs is an advantage.
  • Ideally speak fluent English. Any additional European language, especially German would be an advantage.
  • Based in the UK with the ability to travel, across Germany and Central Europe, up to 3 days a week.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage/develop the relationships with the Regional Distribution partners.
  • Manage and develop business with Regional Distributors within the region. Hold regular business reviews with Sales Branches and implement actions for sales growth.
  • Educate the network on new products, existing products and our manufacturing and design capabilities
  • Set design-in and design-win goals with Distribution Acct Mgrs/FAE resources.
  • Manage a New Business Opportunities pipeline with Regional Distributors to drive growth.
  • Maintain visit reports along with keeping the CRM database up to date.
  • Provide Distribution Sales with appropriate sales tool and awareness of key products for focus markets.
  • Work with the Business Development Team to optimise sales leads with Distribution partners
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Communications team to plan regional marketing activities and appropriate sales tools for the Regional Distribution Network, in line with the Marketing Strategy.
  • Support the activities of the Head of European Sales.

This is an opportunity to join one of the market leaders within the Electronic Concocts space. You will have full responsibility for the region and therefore will be involved in high level discussions about Sales Strategies, new products and the market in general.
