Embedded Software Engineer

My rapidly expanding Hampshire based Client within the Biometric sector including Smart Cards, Mobile and IOT has an urgent requirement for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with experience of Embedded Systems using dedicated Microcontrollers.


Tasks and Responsibilities:


Programming in C and C++

Design and development of low-level drivers and real-time applications for low-resource microcontrollers

Design and development of kernel drivers for mobile platforms

Documentation

Participation in the development team on customer-focused projects together with international partners

Planning and implementation of quality assurance activities

Technical customer support


Experience:


Experienced work with embedded systems using dedicated micro controllers

Experience with SPI, I2C and USB communication interfaces

Experience with Cortex-M0/M3/M4 micro controllers

Experience with Secure Elements and secure operating systems

Experience with low power systems

Able to work within a multi-discipline team

Project management, deep and broad understanding of production technology

Relevant product development is a benefit
