Embedded Software Engineer

IC Resources is working with an innovative Energy related start up based in a small town in Oxfordshire that are actively looking for an embedded software engineer to join their team. This role will be working on an Embedded System but offers the opportunity to get involved with Middleware development, Machine Learning and interfacing with high levels of the Software stack.


The role will be working on an ARM system in Embedded Linux coding in C and C++. The team is in a development stage and due project demand they are needing to bolster the software team to allow for company growth, which means it's an exciting time to join this company at period of expansion.


The role will require adding features, improving and coding of an Embedded Linux IoT system as well as working on an IoT stack with server communication, controlling of the hardware and interfacing with App developers for Android and IOS.


The position requires strong academics around C and C++ Coding, knowledge on Embedded systems and ideally Embedded Linux (Yocto, builroot or alike would be useful) with any further knowledge on hardware through to App development being beneficial.
