Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Salary dependant on experience
I'm searching for a graduate mechanical engineer for a Cambridge start-up who are developing a highly disruptive and world-changing technology.
I'm looking for a mechanical engineer who wants a fast-paced, hands-on, practically-biased role working with experimental rigs and microfluidics. You will work on the design, build, test and ongoing support of the microfluidic and mechanical platforms which enable the life sciences team to conduct their experiments.
To begin with, your primary responsibility will be the mechanical build and test of existing rig designs, documenting your work and analysing results to draw conclusions and make recommendations. As you build your skills and experience you'll get the opportunity to become more involved with part and sub-assembly design, eventually taking ownership of tasks throughout the entire rig design and commissioning life cycle.
