Graduate Silicon Engineer

This is without a doubt one of the best Graduate Silicon Engineer opportunities around. Join one of the most inventive, forward-thinking Semiconductor companies developing artificial intelligence and machine learning technology, based in the centre of Bristol, and become a true chip design expert.

As a Graduate Silicon Engineer you will join an experienced team of IC Design experts and get to grips with the development of high speed interconnect IP for intelligent systems. You will start off in the ASIC Verification team, and have the chance to engage with the chip and learn about what it does and how it works. You will then have the chance to move through different Engineering teams, so you can expect to get involved with logical and/or physical design in future, as well as software development if this interests you.

Unlike many larger organisations where you might expect to find more of a rigid structure, this company offers much more in the way of technical opportunity and paths that will be open to you.

Essentially, we're looking for a bright Graduate, with a drive for innovation and a strong mix of practical knowledge within ASIC / FPGA design, coupled with software programming experience.

What you will need:

  • An excellent academic background, with a technical degree (Electronics, Computing etc.)
  • Some hands-on project experience using Verilog / VHDL / System Verilog, Python and C++.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to think critically, explore complex issues and discuss solutions

You can expect a great basic salary, full benefits, ongoing support and training and career progression. If you are looking to work with one of the most exciting technical organisations in the UK then contact Rachel Mason.
